1991 Saturno 500 model codes UK

Hi, hoping someone can help me with the model codes for a 1991 Saturno 500 Bialbero.
I am trying to register the bike with the DVLA in England and struggling to find this information.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry, I'm not very used to british vehicle registration procedures
What kind of number did you need?
Gilera has a type number for every model they built
That are the first 3 digits of the FIN

Saturno 500 has 222
The engines number is 221, no matching numbers

I must somewhere have the italian homologation papers

.... DGM means Direzione Generale Motorizzazione; IGM means Ispettorato Generale Motorizzazione. The number that follows is a progressive homologation number, and OM is for omologazione, homologation. IGM numbers were introduced in August 1959But it took about a year to fully implement the system. In 1967 the name was changed from Ispettorato to Direzione, hence the numbers change from IGM to DGM in that year....

Thanks so much for your reply.
If honest I don’t know exactly what the code should look like. They keep telling me that when they enter the particular code into the database it will then tell them it’s a Gilera Saturno 500.

My frame number starts with 222 and the engine number starts with 221.

I will try the code you have sent me from the bottom of your message and let you how I get on, however I suspect this will take a number of weeks.
