This week my boss printed a silent-block of the tank, with rubber thread, It is not a success, too hard. I asked him to make hollow part.

He will also print me the footrest rubbers.
I hope that with their original design they will be more flexible.

that's the trick.
But there are also filament types out there which are way more weak
The TPU stuff is rather hard
I have a small amount of Recreus FilaFlex, but only in 3mm diameter
It's available in 95, 82 and 70 ShoreA grade
It's called thermoplastic polyether polyurethane
TPU is only thermoplastic polyurethane.
So maybe it's nearly the same, but it's more like rubber.
Ninja Flex is another brand. Both more expensive than TPU
He will also print me the footrest rubbers.
you need the stl file for that?
I hope that with their original design they will be more flexible.
no, they are not :(
Ignore the colour please ;)
It's from TPU

Original Prusa. Kostet als Bausatz die Kleinigkeit von 700Euro :(
Fertiggeraet noch mehr.
Er ist locker in 2 Nachmittagen zusammen gebaut. Ich hatte die Ehre helfen zu duerfen.
Druckt out of the box einafch nur perfekt.

Hello,

Tonight, my boss and I looked at the wire available in hardness from its supplier, little choice: shore 80, 85, 90 A and> shore 30 D.
He told me that he also worked with a company specializing in rubber and mold making.
We have requested a quote for the tank silent-blocks and the footrests.

What hardness for these 2 references?

Are you interested?

i have just ordere a coil of super soft filament Shore 65 A
Rather expensive. About 4th the price of simple PLA
I will give it a try ;)
I am not shure if my printer can handle such weak material.
And i have not much experience in 3D printing at all and no experience in printing TPU
We will see
I have a friend with a Prusa, which seems to be very good printer (it's also very expensive)
so maybe she can try to print the parts.

I did not know about the hard- or softness of the original parts.
I also did know about how long the printed parts will last.
Maybe we will have to test that ;)

Getting parts made from 'real' rubber might be the better choice.
Depending on the price i think ;)
Maybe we can organize a bulk order.
Best in colaborartion with the french, the italian, and the english Gilera Forum
The more the better ... aka the cheaper :)
