I bought an gilera 124 fl. Vin nummer 1012792.The engine number i can not read anymore. WHO can help me where I can find the year of production?

HI Nebbor,
Welcome! The VIN number that you have mentioned is from a very early 124.
The Gilera 124 was introduced in november 1959, production started in 1960.
So the year of production of your Gilera should be 1960.

Hi Nebbor,
That's odd. This is not an early 124. It looks like a 124 FL Speciale Strada but I am not sure it is. These were built between 1965 and 1967. The VIN number of a 124 FL should start with 101 followed by 73xxx or 90xxx and up. Can you check your frame number and engine number again?
