Hi guys!
Time is going on and actually I can't work on my Gilera XR1.
I want to do a better setting of my APTS exaust valve.
For this operation I need the help of my friend Luca (he works in Beta Team Racing).
But now it's too busy with EICMA (International Bike Expo in Milan).
So..... I must to wait....
Uff!!!
Well....meantime my XR1, started again to braking not very much.....
Uff!!!
Doesn't matter!
Everything is gonna be all right!!!!!
See you next episode!!
Ciao
Marco

Hi guys!
I think that finally my APTS exaust valve it's ready to go, with a better setting.
And about brakes:
-
front brake, now it's good (I divided in two Ferodo brake pad, for a better fit on the disk);
-
rear brake.... well... when I reassembled it, I put grease on the shaft of the pump and this has partly emulsified in the brake circuit....

(I cleaned all and I replace DOT4 brake oil in circuit!).... now it's good too!

I'll tell you more in next episode!!

Hi guys!
Is an official despatch:
my engine finally run over 9500 rpm!!!!
In this day, at this lunch pause, with a weak sun, I ridden my Gilera XR1!!!!
Finally no rain and no ice....
Well..... after a little warm up run.....
.... a really short launch....
Well.... I gained in 6th gear about 8700 rpm....
This corresponds at about 140 km/h...
4th gear and 5th gear have been pushed beyond 9500 rpm!!!!
And in 6th gear engine pushed again and again!
Cool!!!!!!
Wow!
Wooooow!
Oh! This is very very good!!!!
This is a really Christmas gift!!!!!
Have a nice day!!!!!
Finally I have my sweet 16's Gilera XR1 in perfect conditions.....
I feel very good.......
Ciao
