Restoration news.
Well.... Cylinder, head and piston are takes apart..
- Cylinder: it's in a very good conditions, there's no rips! Just some carbon incrustations on exaust system;
- Head: seems perfect, with just a little carbon incrustations (exaust side);
- Piston: not bad considering that have covered 16.000 kilometers, but the inferior ring it's locked (maybe old fuel, and oil) and there are some little rips on intake side.....
Fortunately rod it's ok and have no defect on drive shaft.
Now I'll take a NEW PISTON and I'll send cylinder in a mechanical polishing center!
And we go!
Ciao!

Hi Müller.
I've some news about your rallye kit.....
Well.... I've send by fax your message at Mr. Frigerio....
Sorry at today I've not found time to go to him....
Mr Frigerio sended an answer to me by fax....
Actually have no more rallye kits for RC 600R.
But have instead a couple of front big tanks (later model Paris-Darkar, year 1992).
This couple of big tanks needs an "hand made" air box, and actually this is not available.
Unfortunately this particular air box it must to make it: do you wanna to do it?
I hope to go to

Mr. Frigerio next week, because I need some spare parts of my XR1.
If you have any other questions for Mr. Frigerio, please tell me!
Have a nice day!
