piston gilera XR2

Post by lepterois » Sat Oct 30, 2010 4:54 pm

Help me please!!!

Hello, everyone!
I'm new here! I am desperately looking for a piston for XR2.
I found on the net, but when I received them, it was missing 2 small light at the rear of the piston.
Someone you it can help me find my happiness?
Help me please!!

Hi Lepterois,
If the piston is the same apart from not having the 2 small windows (lights) it would be possible to cut them into the piston, by marking the position from the old piston onto the new piston then drilling the correct radius holes in each corner then cutting out the port with a junior hack saw and filling to size.
Or give some money to Gottfied who will be happy to assist you.
Good luck
John

Thanks for all. I've ordered the piston to Gottfried and now I'm waiting. I will see!
