Flash news!

Post by gileraXR1 » Thu Jul 03, 2008 5:33 pm

Hi guys!

Yesterday evening I drived my Gilera XR1 at home.
Finally!!! :D

Well... engine it's very good! It runs very well.....
Now it's at the begin of a new life.... and, actually, max 6000/6500 rpm!!!

But..... when I was at home, after few kilometers, I heard a "low" wheezing noise became from engine!!!!! *oh*

I think it's a little problem whit the bearing of water pump.... I hope!!!
*Lollo*

Instead.... brakes are not very good. After some purge works, new brake oil, and new brake pads, the results it's not perfect...... and I need it! *thumb*

So, now I'll look for a Brembo recovery set for brakes pumps and calipers!

Uff!!!!!!! *SOS*

And we go!

Next days new photo upgrade!!!

Ciao *danke*

Did your source also offer repair kits for other Brembo stuff?
The rear pump of the Saturno for example?
Seems to be that Brembo will not sell this kits anymore :(

Hi Joachim!

Well.... I don't think so.....
I want to say..... that, there are just a definite type and number of Brembo pump in commerce. :P
A rear pump for a bike.... sometimes it's the same for an other bike! :D
My Brembo recovery kit (that I've used for my Gilera XR1), for example, it's for Aprilia 125..... (that have the same brake system). *yahoo*
So, I think that We can try to find easily this recovery kit....

Tell me if you need it! 8)
You are welcome!
